Douglas Macgregor (born January 4, 1947) is a retired colonel in the United States Army, former government official, author, consultant, and political commentator.

An Armor Branch officer by background, Macgregor was a leader in an early tank battle in the Gulf War and was a top planner in the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia His 1997 book Breaking the Phalanx argued for radical reforms inside the United States Army.

After retiring from the military in 2004, Macgregor became more politically active. In 2020, president Donald Trump proposed him as the U.S. ambassador to Germany, but the U.S. Senate blocked the nomination. On November 11, 2020, a Pentagon spokesperson announced that Macgregor had been hired to serve as senior advisor to the acting secretary of defense, a post he held for less than three months. Trump also appointed him to the board of the U.S. Military Academy, but the appointment was terminated by president Joe Biden in 2021. Macgregor's commentary has been noted for placing a lower significance on Ukraine, illegal immigrants and refugees than competing priorities in terms of overall U.S. foreign relations considerations.

Scott Ritter is an American former United States Marine Corps intelligence officer, former United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) weapons inspector, author, and commentator.

Ritter was a junior military analyst during Operation Desert Storm. He served as a member of UNSCOM overseeing the disarmament of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq from 1991 to 1998, from which he resigned in protest. Later he became a critic of the Iraq War and United States foreign policy in the Middle East. In recent years, he has been a regular contributor to Russian state media outlets RT and Sputnik. He has visited Russia in support of Russia since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In June 2024, Ritter claimed that US authorities seized his passport and prevented him from visiting Russia.

John Mearsheimer (born December 14, 1947) is an American political scientist and international relations scholar. He is the R. Wendell Harrison Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago.

Mearsheimer is best known for developing the theory of offensive realism, which describes the interaction between great powers as being primarily driven by the rational desire to achieve regional hegemony in an anarchic international system. In accordance with his theory, Mearsheimer believes that China's growing power will likely bring it into conflict with the United States.

In his 2007 book The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, Mearsheimer argues that the Israel lobby wields disproportionate influence over U.S. foreign policy. His more recent work focuses on criticism of the "liberal international order" and why he believes the West is to blame for the Russo-Ukrainian War.

When he was 17, Mearsheimer enlisted in the US Army. After one year as an enlisted man, he obtained an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, which he attended from 1966 to 1970. Commissioned at graduation, Mearsheimer then served five years as an officer in the United States Air Force.

In 1974, while in the Air Force, Mearsheimer earned a master's degree in international relations from the University of Southern California. He entered Cornell University and in 1980 earned a doctorate in government, concentrating his studies in international relations. From 1978 to 1979, he was a research fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. From 1980 to 1982, Mearsheimer was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University's Center for International Affairs.

Lawrence Wilkerson (born June 15, 1945) is a retired United States Army Colonel and former chief of staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Since the end of his military career, Wilkerson has criticized many aspects of the Iraq War, including his own preparation of Powell's presentation to the United Nations Security Council, as well as other aspects of American policy in the Middle East, as well as criticizing Israel. As of 2024, he is a member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.

Larry Johnson is an American blogger, political commentator and former analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. He is the co-owner and CEO of Business Exposure Reduction Group (BERG) Associates, LLC, and the co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS).

Johnson worked at the CIA for four years as an analyst, then moved to the United States State Department's Office of Counterterrorism. In 1993, Johnson left government work to join the private sector, "going on to build a dual career as a business consultant and a pundit on intelligence issues".

Gilbert Doctorow holds a Ph.D. in Russian history from Columbia University and is a fluent Russian speaker. He spent most of his professional life in corporate business with a focus on Russia. The Memoirs direct attention to two periods when his perch afforded him a rare opportunity to observe and interact with the people and institutions shaping economic, cultural and social life there, 1976-80 and 1989-2000. In the first period he was a consultant taking senior executives from some of America’s best known corporations to negotiations in Moscow with Soviet end-users over turnkey manufacturing projects. In the second period he was the corporate executive planning and running ongoing operations, including as expatriate general manager on the ground.

Doctorow has authored five books of essays. He also has participated in expert forums devoted to international affairs and appeared in Russian domestic political talk shows on all national channels.

Aaron Maté (born 13 March 1979) is a Canadian writer and journalist. He hosts the show Pushback with Aaron Maté on The Grayzone and, as of January 2022, he fills in as a host on the Useful Idiots podcast. Maté has worked as a reporter and producer for Democracy Now!, Vice, The Real News Network, and Al Jazeera, and has contributed to The Nation.

Maté currently works as a reporter for The Grayzone, a fringe far-left news website and blog.

He challenged allegations of collusion between the Russian government and the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, and the extent to which Russian interference influenced the outcome of the 2016 US presidential election, winning an Izzy Award for this work.

Maté has testified at United Nations Arria meetings hosted by Russia and China, after being invited by the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, including one meeting concerning what Maté called a cover-up by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons regarding the April 2018 Douma chemical attack.

Davis was raised in Dallas, Texas, and enlisted in the Army in 1985. He later received a master's degree in international relations from Troy University.

Davis served in Germany and Iraq, earning the Bronze Star during Operation Desert Storm. Later, Davis left the Army to work in the private sector, while continuing to serve in the United States Army Reserve. In 2002, after the September 11 attacks, Davis returned to active duty. He was initially posted to the Pentagon. During a second deployment to Afghanistan, Davis was decorated with a second Bronze Star. He retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Davis was disturbed by what he felt was a program of official deception being presented to the public on the success of the War in Afghanistan. In 2012, after returning to the United States, he sent a report on his observations to the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General. Unclassified versions of the report were copied to several members of the United States Congress and the New York Times.

In 2025, Davis was selected by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard for appointment as deputy director for mission integration. Gabbard withdrew the selection prior to Davis' appointment after news of its pendency leaked, prompting criticism from hawkish elements within the Republican Party.

Glenn Eric Andre Diesen (born 1979) is a Norwegian political scientist, analyst, and author. He is a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway. He was a regular commentator on the Russian state-controlled international news television network RT. Some Norwegian academics have criticized him for "speaking for Russia". He opposed the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Diesen obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2001 and a Master of Business from the University of Sydney in 2004. He completed two years of Russian language and literature studies at Saint Petersburg State University in 2006. Diesen was awarded a master's degree in international relations from Macquarie University in Sidney, Australia, in 2009 and a PhD in politics and international relations jointly from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Macquarie University in 2014, with a dissertation under the supervision of Wolfgang Wagner and Steve Wood entitled Inter-democratic Security Institutions and the Security Dilemma: EU and NATO relations with Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. His dissertation addressed the ideational and institutional influence on the rationality of EU and NATO decision-makers from a neoclassical realist perspective.

Diesen worked as a lecturer and scholarly teaching fellow in the Department of Security Studies and Criminology at Macquarie University from 2011 to 2017, as an adjunct research fellow in the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University from 2016 to 2019[15] and as a visiting scholar and subsequently a professor in the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia from 2018 to 2020. In 2020 he became an associate professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, where he was promoted to professor in 2021. He specializes in Russian foreign policy, political economy, conservatism and Eurasian integration. He is affiliated with the Valdai Discussion Club and since 2018 has been an editor of the Russia in Global Affairs journal.

Alex (born in 1970) is co-founder of TrendCompass.net and founder of Krainer Analytics. He is a former hedge fund manager, commodities trader and author based in Monaco.

Alex was born and raised in a socialist regime of former Yugoslavia, under one-party communist rule. As a 17-year old he joined a student exchange program and took up his university studies there, ultimately transferring to Switzerland on a scholarship where he completed a degree in Business and Economics.

From Switzerland his path led him to Venezuela where he lived for a year and experienced his first banking crisis in 1994 when 9 of Venezuela’s 16 largest banks failed and brought the country’s economy to a grinding halt.

The same year he returned to Croatia and joined the military where he served through 1995 during the last phases of Croatia’s war of independence.

In 1996, upon discharge from the military, Alex took employment at an oil trading company in Monaco. In 1998 he became the head of risk and CEO in 2000.

Alex had originated the firm’s research and development program in market analysis and application of neural networks and artificial intelligence in trading of financial and commodities markets.

By 2007 Alex launched his own investment management business and was among the small minority of managers who generated positive investment returns (+27%) during the 2008 financial crisis.

Over the following six years, his fund outperformed the Dow Jones Credit Suisse index of Blue Chip commodity futures trading funds.

In 2011 Alex Joined Lee Robinson’s Altana Wealth to manage the firm’s inflation hedging strategy. In 2019 Alex created Altana Wealth’s systematic portfolio allocation strategy which is beginning to make its mark in bridging the gap between technology and finance. In more recent years, Alex also busied himself as an author.

In 2015 he published his first book titled, “Mastering Uncertainty in Commodities Trading.”

Dr Anthony Chaffee is an American medical doctor and Neurosurgical resident who, over a span of 20+ years, has researched the optimal nutrition for human performance and health.

It is his assertion that most of the so-called chronic diseases we treat as doctors are caused by the food we eat, or don’t eat, and can be reversed with dietary changes to a species-specific diet. He began University at the age of 16 studying Molecular & Cellular Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at the U of Washington in Seattle, which culminated in an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons.

He is an All-American rugby player, a former professional player in England and America, and also has trained in MMA fighting. More recently, he volunteered as a doctor in the refugee camps in Bangladesh, helping the survivors of the 2017 genocide in Burma of the Rohingyan people.

Currently in Australia, he works as a Neurosurgical registrar and he works in a functional medicine clinic as well. He is still full Carnivore.

Dr. Ken D. Berry graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, and since then, he has practiced family medicine in rural Tennessee. As a sports medicine physician (which required a further 4 years of study after completing medical school, internship, and residency), I also consult with many athletes and act as a consultant for professional sports teams. Additionally, I have a strong academic interest and expertise in chronic pain, especially that related to neck or lower back issues.

I respect that 'doctor' in Latin derives from 'teacher' and, educate my patients on the science regarding their treatment options. This allows them to make appropriately informed decisions regarding their care. Further, where possible, my holistic approach focuses on lifestyle management first, and pharmaceuticals second.
