  • The global warming crusade is achieving nothing but damage to the economic and social fabric of Western nations.
    • No convincing constructive debate or inquiry has ever been held into the theory of global warming or appropriate responses to it.
    • The "authoritative" but un-cross-examined reports by scientists, who appear to have a vested interest in the outcome, have not satisfied the critics who include many eminent scientists.

    • Nothing has been achieved for the good of the planet as there has been no detectable effect on atmospheric CO2 concentrations in spite of the enormous expenditure on wind and solar energy.
    • This enormous expenditure has been by nations that are in debt, sometimes to alarming degrees.
    • Electricity prices have risen in all afflicted countries and employment reduced as industries are forced offshore.
    • The un-critical politicians who progressed action on climate are loosing support in some countries.

  • What are the requirements for constructive debate on a complex important issue?
    • A complex issues need to be addressed via a number of simpler sub-issues which together must logically explain their parent issue.
    • The points for and against each issue or sub-issue must be clearly listed.
    • A full range of points can only by uncovered by consulting all bodies involved in the issue.
    • The discovery phase should only conclude
    • The evidence for each point must be tabled with links to the paper and its empirical data.
    • Unsubstantiated opinions from any person or organisation are not admissible as evidence.
    • A point is not refuted by attacking the character of its author.
    • Large summary documents that do not logically trace each conclusion back to empirical data are not admissable.
    • No one should form an opinion on any issue until all the sub-issues and points for and against have been discovered.
    • The strength of an opinion should be based on the quality of its logic and evidence not on the consensus of any particular body whose vested interested might not be obvious.
  • What are the issues involved in an action on global warming?
    • Is the current climate unprecedented for 10,000 years?
      • If it has happened before without the recent CO2 emissions why would it be a problem now?
    • Are human CO2 emissions causing significant warming?
      • If natural variability is causing
    • Would significant warming of the planet be dangerous?
    • Can atmospheric CO2 concentrations be reduced by substituting wind and solar for gas, coal and oil?
    • Is the additional cost of renewable energy significantly less than the implied cost of the averted warming?
    • Will voters accept the rise in energy costs and damage to the economy to avert some possible warming?
