# Checkvist Introduction #
You can use Checkvist as a task management system or as a general purpose outliner
- Press 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 to change text or background color. Press 0 to remove color
Use keyboard navigation to quickly add, complete, and reorder items in your list.
- Type some text, press `ENTER`, type more, press `ENTER` ... until the list is finished.
- TAB and Shift-TAB to indent and outdent
- CTRL-Up and Ctrl-Down to move list items up and down
- Press aa to invoke the Actions menu
